author : Tammy JI have always been a romantic and a bibliophile, and was influenced early on by my name. Tammy courtesy of Tammy Tyree of Tammy and the Bachelor and Jo courtesy of Miss Jo March from Little Women; two literary and cinematic legends that I never found it hard to live up to.\n\nFrom a young age I could always be found carrying around books to read while watching my grandmother’s stories (soap operas) with her. I read anything and everything I could get my hands on and even made up skits and stories for my friends and me to act out. Once I outgrew the children’s books, I moved to the new Nancy Drew Mysteries and Sweet Valley High, until alas, I had been through all of them as well. Then my mom introduced me to an entirely new world – the world of romance.\n\nI quickly began reading Janet Daily, Diana Palmer, and Anne Mather, and found myself impatiently waiting for each of their new books to come out. Then I discovered I had a love for history (possibly due to some really cute history teachers/coaches in my past) and began devouring books by Amanda Quick, Samantha James, and Gaelen Foley. One day, sitting in a college British History class, something the professor said made me think, I wonder. I quickly called mom (also a writer) and ran the idea by her. After being told, “Of course you can do it, you’re my daughter,” the rest, as they say, is history.\n\nI currently share my love of reading with the next generation as a high school librarian, and share my personal life with my demanding dog trapped in a cat’s body, Ajax. I also would not be here today without the support of my wonderful parents and sister.\n\nIn 2017, The Beast of Yorkshire won the Carolyn Reader’s Choice Award. The same year I released my 8th historical romance. What a wild ride it has been and I look forward to every hairpin curve coming up. I hope you have as much fun reading my stories as I did writing them.\n\nHappy Reading!\n\nTammy Jo View more >>
